About Us CiRS is a registered charity, and through Volunteer Red Deer, is the essential community connector. By actively creating synergies and with the support and involvement of the business community, we deliver services to help nonprofit and community service organizations:- leverage their resources - enhance their skills - effectively deliver their services
We do this through diverse, dynamic support to the sector. We manage and share information and on-line resources. Our far-reaching e-newsletter links the non-profit sector to Central Albertan residents. Professional Development programs build our colleagues' capacity and effectiveness. Our Community Village provides affordable office space where organizations thrive with like-minded groups, realize cost-savings through shared resources and benefit from peer mentoring. Our competitive fee-for-service offerings include meeting rooms, video conferencing, and more – helping organizations clearly communicate with one another and the people they serve.As the home of Volunteer Red Deer — we help individuals meaningfully contribute and strengthen their community.
