In our role as "Your Community Connector" and champion of the Central Alberta nonprofit sector, we advance the success of our peer organizations: support to us supports them.

We leverage resources to help Central Alberta nonprofit organizations and community service organizations reduce operating costs and more effectively deliver professional, essential services to individuals and families.

CiRS is the "glue" of central Alberta’s non-profit sector. We create awareness of the sector’s services and support community access to these services. We facilitate collaboration among the sector to help our nonprofit and community organizations work together to address the challenges we face in our communities. Capacity and effectiveness is enhanced as organizations benefit from the CiRS community network of support, referrals, professional development, co-located office space and services, web design and hosting, video-conferencing, and other services. We promote volunteerism and help link citizens to distinct opportunities.
